RASCOM to have extended the palette of their services

11.04.2016
Starting from April 2016, the Company RASCOM is offering a new option BGP FlowSpec for IP-transit services that will give the company’s customers a tool to efficiently fight against DDoS attacks on their networks, equipment and/or on-line services.

The option can be useful for the content providers, data center operators, on-line sertvise owners and many other companies that take interest in protecting their networks against intrusion from outside.BGP FlowSpec is intended for cutting off the traffic based on the protocols and/or IP-packets types that are not used on the customer’s network, but rather are used for the DDoS attacks. Filtering the attacking traffic is performed automatically on the circuit and hardware level of the whole network of RASCOM. For more details on the service, please, contact the site of RASCOM.

To arrange for familiarizing the telecomm carriers and corporate customers with the new service, the Company RASCOM is offering, to all entities, the opportunity to test the BGP FlowSpec. Testing will be provided for a time span of up to 1 month free of charge under condition an interface is available to connect the network of the entity conducting the test with RASCOM’s network. If there is no interface available to get connected to RASCOM’s network, crossing to RASCOM’s n network will be effected at the expenses of the entity conducting the test, with the testing of Internet-transit together with the option BGP FlowSpec being provided for a time period of 3 calendar days.

To arrange the testing or connect to the new service, you need to apply to RASCOM’s manager in charge of your company or to send the application to the Sales department at sales@rascom.net
