Implementation of a new DWDM backbone Moscow-Minsk-Warsaw-Frankfurt In cooperation with the Belarusian partner NTEC RASCOM has installed and connected the equipment at every node of a new DWDM backbone joining Moscow, Minsk, Warsaw and Frankfurt together. Now the company owns a new unique route that is providing the minimal delay on a demanded direction.

Total capacity of the system is over 12.8 Tbps.

RTD between Moscow, MMTS9 – Minsk is 10.6 ms, between Moscow and Warsaw: 17.1 ms, on the circuits to Frankfurt Equinix FR5: 31.4 ms, to Frankfurt Digital Realty-FRA13: 31,6 ms.

Such parameters will allow RASCOM’s customers and partners to order new circuits to Minsk and Warsaw, as well as get the shorter route to Frankfurt. This will be the third route within the company’s network, which is completely independent from the other two routes, that is currently one of the most demanded by the Russian carriers for the international traffic as well as by the foreign partners that are leasing the circuits passing through the territory of Russia.
